Description and Review:
We're heading over to Imperial Japan for NextGen Slots
newest creation: Emperors Garden. As the name suggests, the theme here is a Japanese garden, complete with Koi Carp, Lotus Flowers and Ornaments.
Being perfectly honest, it's not the most graphically exciting game - in fact, the look is mediocre at best. In this day of pin sharp graphics, 3D slots, HD and so on, I think NextGen are letting themselves down in terms of creating an appealing and attractive game that would encourage people to play it.
As a slot, there isn't much here to distinguish Emperors Garden from 100s of other games. Yes, there's a 'Gamble' feature. Yes, there are retriggerable free spins. And yes, there's an expanding wild.
What is lacking, however, is the chance for any kind of huge win. You would need to bet max coins (25 lines at $2 per line) and hope to re-trigger the free spins round at least once to get anywhere near something that could be described as a decent sized win.
That having been said, Emperors Garden is not ungenerous - wins do hit every few spins and getting even two scattered Koi Carp symbols will give you more than your bet size. It's just that here we've got another slots game that really doesn't stand out from the crowd. Give it a go, but there are better slot machines out there than this one.
5 Reel, 25 Payline Slot Machine
Garden Symbol. This appears on Reels 2,3 and 4. The symbol expands to make the whole reel wild. Wins are then calculated.
Any win can be gambled by predicting whether the next card will be 'red' or 'black'. Or you can guess whether the next card drawn will be a Spade, Heart, Diamond or Club.
Koi Carp. Three or more Koi Carp symbols trigger the free spins round.
10 free spins and a 3x win multiplier. The free spins round can be re-triggered.
